SUMMARY:Aid for Artsakh
DESCRIPTION:The unfolding humanitarian disaster in Artsakh over the past few weeks has led to 100\,000 fellow Armenians leaving their homes\, travelling to Armenia to escape Azeri aggression and atrocities. Our refugee sisters and brothers from Artsakh need our material support now to provide clothing\, food\, and shelter to overcome these incredibly challenging conditions. \nAlthough the LA chapter has decided to cancel it’s 55th anniversary Gala out of respect and solemnity given the grave circumstances in Artsakh\, we can still harness the generosity and dedication of our members and supporters to donate to support the Artsakh refugees in need. While we no longer will be showing up to an event in person\, we need to show up with financial support for our compatriots. All the donations collected will be submitted to Armenian Relief Society on behalf of Homenetmen LA\, which is supporting the humanitarian response on the ground in Armenia. \n\n\nDonation

DESCRIPTION:October General Meeting to Elect Regional Delegates \nThe Homenetmen Los Angeles Chapter Executive Committee invites all qualified members for a special general meeting which will take place on Thursday October 26th 2023 at 7:30pm in the Hollywood ACF Center\, located at 1559 N. Kenmore Ave\, Los Angeles\, CA  90027. To qualify for this meeting\, you must be a current active chapter member. \nThe 2021-2023 Homenetmen Western United States Regional Executive Board term will come to an end in November 2023. The purpose of this meeting is to review the Regional Executive Board’s brief report\, discuss and approve motions\, as well as elect delegates to attend the 45th Regional Representatives’ Meeting on Nov 10-12 organized by the Homenetmen Regional Executive Board.
