DESCRIPTION:The McCourt Foundation is organizing their annual LA 5K run through Los Angeles on Saturday\, March 15th. Homenetmen LA is organizing a team to run in this event as a new and fun way to raise some funds for a number of activities this year\, including to support our scouts attending the Intercontinental Summer Camp at Camp Tecuya\, as well as our athletes who are going to Armenia to participate in the 12th Pan Homenetmen Games! \nThe LA 5K is open to participants of all ages and abilities – no experience in running previous distance events is necessary. Typically runners can finish the 5K in 30-40 minutes; you can also choose to walk the distance typically in 45-60 minutes. Experience an iconic run as you run through beautiful Elysian Park before a rewarding finish set against the backdrop of world-famous Dodger Stadium. All participants will receive a race shirt\, finishers medal\, post-race refreshments and a truly unforgettable race experience. \nLimited team slots are available.
