Homenetmen LA5K
March 7 @ 6:30 am - 10:00 am

The McCourt Foundation is organizing their annual LA 5K run through Los Angeles on Saturday, March 7th. Homenetmen has been registered as an official non-profit partner of the McCourt Foundation, and we will have the opportunity to field a team for this race. This represents an excellent fundraising opportunity for our athletes and scouts, including for those planning to attend the InterContinental Jamboree in Armenia this summer, as well as for the upcoming Navasartian Games.
The LA 5K is open to participants of all ages and abilities – no experience in running previous distance events is necessary. Typically runners can finish the 5K in 30-40 minutes; you can also choose to walk the distance typically in 45-60 minutes. Experience an iconic run as you run through beautiful Elysian Park before a rewarding finish set against the backdrop of world-famous Dodger Stadium. All participants will receive a race shirt, finishers medal, post-race refreshments and a truly unforgettable race experience – check out our video from last year’s race!
Very limited team slots are available and will be disbursed on a first come, first serve basis. Reserve your spot today by registering on the Homenetmen partner page of the McCourt Foundation LA5K website – see below for step by step instructions. If you have any questions email Kouyr Tamar Gharibian at tamargharibian@gmail.com.
We ask each registrant to pledge to raise at least $150 to participate in our team – of course we hope you can raise much more through your network to support our scouts and athletes!
